This past week just felt crazy. Silly mistakes, inspiring meetings, running from one thing to the next. Surprisingly though I had a pretty productive weekend. I finished all my laundry Saturday morning, tidied up my clothes area, worked on freelance, and finally finished some thank you cards.
Now, I've mentioned before that procrastination is in my blood, so let's just accept and move on from that point. These are thank you cards to my family... from graduation. Noooo not for my birthday in January, or Christmas, but my college graduation. But hey they are done now & will be in their hands very soon.
You know how some projects take way longer than you plan for? (like all projects, riiight?) These cards sort of fall into that category. I had a general idea of how I wanted them to look, but as I went along I kept realizing I needed more materials. So I went to the store 3 times this weekend just for this project- 3 times! Ridiculous. Trip #1: I knew I needed to buy some envelopes. Trip #2: Then I realized I didn't have the paper I wanted to print on. Trip #3: THEN my printer decided to run out of ink on my first try. I was so irritated. Getting new printer ink really ruffles my feathers, because I never feel like it lasts as long as they claim. So I finally finished. Handmade cards in a weekend.
